Is it just me or is it spidery out today?
Eating some sort of little wood wasp, I think. Same spider species as this one but more detail shows in the mellower light.
And I stand corrected. Since I was a kid I called these wolf spiders. They aren’t. Officially anyway. I was under the impression that any spider that doesn’t build a web was a “wolf.” The arachnid pictured is a jumping spider.
