Raptor Day: Another Sunday in Seattle

As I mentioned, the red-tailed hawks have been here every day going on four weeks. This morning was another chance to flub some photos of them.

Then up at Green Lake got to see the predictable to the point of being trite poses of two bald eagles.

And for the climax I got my favorite bird (well, top 5 anyway). Only the 3rd time I've seen one and the first picture I've ever taken. An osprey.

Not bad for a day around the neighborhood. Doesn't even include the incidental warblers, woodpeckers, and such I couldn't get good pictures of.
