Pelagic cormorant in flight

Down the street at Meadowbrook earlier/yesterday. Two years ago I saw one try to swallow a 15 inch trout for about 45 minutes. Finally gave up but by then the poor fish had been worried to death. I saw a great blue heron try the same feat with a suckerfish with considerably more success last year. I’ll get those pictures here one of these days.
